You should definitely have an apple pie recipe in your repertoire to celebrate Fall. And sometimes you want to kick it up a notch from the basic. When you do, try this Harvest Apple & Almond Tart.
This apple tart has a crumbly, cookie-like crust, then a layer of almond paste, then the layer of sliced apples (with some raisins for good measure), and then it’s topped off with a honey-almond topping. It’s a bit fancier than the norm, don’t you think? 🙂
