These Blue Velvet Cupcakes are extra special topped with Marshmallow Frosting!
Blue velvet cupcakes are like red velvet, only with blue food coloring instead. If you’re not familiar with red velvet, it’s simply a chocolate cake/cupcake with red food coloring… hence the name. 🙂 And a classic red velvet recipe includes some buttermilk and vinegar for a tender crumb.
This blue chocolate-flavored cupcake is topped with marshmallow frosting. These are perfect for your Fourth of July BBQ or picnic.
