These Gingerbread Men are a perfect holiday treat to make and decorate with your kids.
Gingerbread cookies are similar to sugar cookies, with the addition of molasses, ginger, and spices. Roll the dough out thick and be sure to make your Gingerbread cookies BIG. 🙂

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)
3 cups (361 g) all-purpose flour
1½ teaspoons baking powder
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 Tablespoon ground ginger
1¾ teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
6 Tablespoons (85 g) unsalted butter
3/4 cup (159 g) light or dark brown sugar, packed
1 large egg
1/2 cup (118 ml, 170 g)) molasses
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
